PORTFOLIO COMMITTEE VISITS NTI..

The MEC for the Department of Community Safety and Transport Management, Sello Lehari accompanied by HOD, Mme Botlhale Mofokeng led a team of NTI senior management to the Portfolio Committee oversight on the progress of turning around the entity.

This meeting is part of the week long oversight visit embarked upon by the Portfolio Committee on Community Safety and Transport Management, Public Works and Roads in Bojanala.

The Portfolio Committee Chairperson, Hon Kim Medupe and committee members Mr Lebogang Xaba and Freddy Sonakile implored that an intervention on NTI be expedited by getting all relevant stakeholders including counterparts from the Gauteng Province to map a way forward.

The entity has potential according to acting GCEO, Mr Peter Moholo, however current challenges will need to be attended to expeditiously before the entity stabilizes.
